The future of identity starts here
IF (Identity First) 2021 brings together the world’s leading experts to debate how getting right the fundamentals of identification – and therefore digital trust – can help us build a better and more equitable future.
Bringing Industry & Academia together to solve a global identity challenge
Digital identity is a bridge across the future; but currently, it’s broken. And the only way to fix it – and in turn build a culture of digital trust – is for academia, industry and influencing bodies to act together in unison.
Academia has a hugely influential role in solving the identity crisis – having a foot in both the present and the future. Our panel chaired by Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt will look at the directions research is heading in, and what they see as the important solutions to help foster digital trust.
Industry also has a starring role in the future of identity. To look at how this will pan out, Lord O’Neill of Gatley will sit down with some of the industry’s leading figures to discuss the role that banks can play in helping solve the identity crisis.
What can you expect at IF 2021
With so much of our lives moving online in the last year, knowing who it is we’re interacting with in the digital world has become a profound point. As a result, digital trust is something we need to get right to protect individuals and economies, as well as society and life as a whole.
IF 2021 is all about exploring these conversations.
